Flood news

Friday 19th February 2021

Orama Public School is NON-OPERATIONAL Friday 19th February 2021 due to flooding.

Friday 23rd March 2018

Dear School Community,

As you may be aware, there is currently an emergency situation in our community involving heavy rain and flooding. To ensure the safety of students and staff, a decision has been made that our school will not be operating on Friday 23rd March 2018. This means that no staff or students are on site. Please ensure that you put supervision arrangements in place for your child/ren.

Kind regards,

Katie Keough-Daley

P.S. Parents, thank you for your prompt responses to my text message early this morning,

Greatly appreciated, Katie

In this section any news of floods will be updated as soon as possible during a flood event, usually before 7am.

The buses cannot travel once the river level at Thora Bridge is above 3.0m. Parents should be mindful that buses will not travel if the forecast suggests there might be an increase in river levels during the course of the day.
